School is back in session!
Well, the semester is off and running again. I have classes on Tues. and Thurs. I have been to all but one! Today, I needed to get some supplies for my Photography class. So, I went to the usual places - the bookstore, Inkley's and even Michaels.
The bookstore was fresh out of what I needed. I was really frustrated because, as I told the clerk, "Don't they know how many people are registered for this class!" I mean shouldn't they stock enough for all the students. Of course not, that would be too convenient. Anyway, they pointed me to Inkley's - a real camera/photography store.
So, off I went. After yelling "Hello" for someone to come out and help me. I requested the items on my list. Of course, they hadn't heard of some and the others were not available. I asked if they could order them --- but no that would be just too easy. So, they suggested I try Michael's or SLC.
Well, SLC is just too far to travel to get supplies for my class at Weber, which is in Ogden, in case they forgot that!!!! Anyway, I tried Michael's and all I got there were some really weird looks. So, my last resort was good ol' dex.
I called every photography store around but most were just answering machines telling me they were not available today --- Wed. I guess they were off for Hump day.
Finally, I got to a place called Farr's Jewerly. That is right folks - you heard it here first--- a jewerly store that carries photography supplies. I called them - they knew exactly what I was talking about and they had it in stock. Of all the places! I mean I should have thought of them first! Hello, what was I thinking. Well, if you ever need photography supplies, I would recommend Farr's because not only will they have what you need but they give discounts to students too. And not to mention, they are cheaper than the bookstore!! Enough said.
