Reality Hits.

Funny, how things are going along then BAM reality hits you right in the face. Ever wonder why that is? Are we always just living in a dream when we are happy? I once had this friend who I could tell everything. We never judged one another. We just talked and did lots of fun stuff together. We developed, what I thought, was a deep affection for each other. Yes, we were mainly just friends but we had something special. I guess we must have gotten too close - somehow crossed the line. Then BAM we were friends no more.

So, does this mean that we were never really friends in the first place? Does this mean it was all just a ruse? I have often wondered if people can really be true friends. You know, the kind of friends who will bail you out of jail even if they know you will never pay them back or friends that can just lie around looking at the stars not saying anything at all instead of going on a big date. I guess maybe guys have that kind of friendship. Okay, maybe 2 girls in the whole world. But it is a rare find to have a friend that accepts you for you and doesn't try to change you. One that likes who you are and knows you accept them for who they are. It really sucks when you think you have found a friend like that and then BAM REALITY HITS!
